三江学院作为青奥会英语志愿者选拔基地之一，为了响应其号召，培养拥有过硬口语能力的大学生志愿者，三江学院大学生英语协会倡议，每一位对英语感兴趣的同学都能积极参与到英语角活动中来。
英语角作为英语协会的招牌活动，拥有着一群得力的策划者，曾在大外部老师及外教的指导和帮助之下，成功举办过英语辩论赛、模拟市场等活动，多次进行各种主题的讨论。英语角提供给每一位来到英语角的同学参与各类活动、共享资源的`机会，用英语交流心声，用英语展现自我。
恳请各位曾经给予英协帮助的大外部老师和外教都能继续支持英协的第二课堂。
倡议各位同学把握机会，响应青奥会号召，响应时代要求，在英语角面向全校师生开放的契机下，共同在轻松地氛围中进步。

Dear schoolmates,
Environmental pollution is a serious social problem. It poses a terrible threat to men's health.
The atmosphere is filthy. The air is thick with dust and burnt oil. Dark smokes are being emitted from chimneys, and choking fumes are being released from numerous vehicles. Stay a little while in a big city, then wipe your forehead with your handkerchief, it is black. Hang out your washing on the line to dry, you will have to wash again. Garbage is left to accumulate in unsanitary heaps that attract flies and give off bad smell. Nor is the pollution confined to air and land. Large quantity of sewage and chemical waste are dumped daily into rivers, lakes and the sea, which kills millions of fish. Noises coming from honking cars, rumbling machines and broadcasting loudspeakers may make a person nervous and irritable, even drive him crazy.

自x年9月广东、山东、海南、宁夏四省开始普通高中新课程实验以来的五年后的今天，新的课程改革犹如一股沁人心扉的春风向湖北中学教育界迎面扑来。
这次实验是我国建国后的第八次基础教育课程改革，这次改革，步伐之大，速度之快，难度之大，都是前七次改革所不可比拟的。它将实现我国中小学课程从学科本位、知识本位向关注每一个学生发展的历史性转变。目前，我们全市高一教师们正以饱满的热忱学习新课改理论，准备迎接新课程改革的挑战。
通过几天的暑期集中学习，老师们逐步了解并接受了一系列新的课程改革理论，认识到了传统的教学模式存在诸多弊端，意识到新课程改革最关键的是实现教师教学方式的转变和学生学习方式的转变。然而，老师们普遍感到困难的是如何将新的课改理念转化为教师的课堂教学行为以及学生的高效学习方式。
藉此暑期集中学习的东风，我倡议全市高中英语教师开展如何践行新课改理念，迎接新课程改革的挑战，提高全市高中英语教学质量的大讨论。
讨论围绕以下4个子问题展开：
1、如何搞好初高中衔接？
2、如何面向全体学生，实现学生共同发展？
3、如何培养学生自主学习能力？
4、如何优化课堂教学结构，提高课堂教学效率？
针对上述问题，我提出个人几点不成熟的意见，起一个抛砖引玉的作用，供大家讨论参考。

1、开展学情分析，搞好两个“摸清”，即：摸清学生知识底细，摸清学生学习态度和学习方法底细，便于开展针对性的教学工作。

Dear students: Hello everyone Earth, the mother of man, the cradle of life. However, human beings are not filial children, to treat their own mother. They cut down trees, uncontrolled robbery limited mineral resources, make clear bottoming out of the river fish disappeared, let sweet natural air muddy; but human desires can not meet they hunt many rare animals, let the animal's fur coat, let the meat of animals as food, let the bones of animals become handicrafts, we human beings become dead animals of the biggest tomb. It is human beings that have been made to get revenge for the mother of the earth. Global warming, many cities will be flooded, many animals are extinct, then humans aren't going to end it? Worse, scientists have shown that, at least in the center of the earth for the forty km range, there is no suitable for human habitation of the second planets, and recently I found that our school and community environment is poor, and this is a lot of our random destruction caused by. At this vital moment, we humans can't numb, for their own, in order to other animals. We have to take action to, I suggest everyone to do this some suggestions: 1: use of non phosphorus detergent. 2: the recycling of renewable resources. 3: less disposable products, such as: disposable chopsticks, cups, bowls, etc.. 4: selection of green building materials repair room. 5: the protection of wild animals, wild animals. 6: to promote the purchase of green food.
