　　教材分析

　　1.PEP英语五年级阶段强调激发学生学习英语的兴趣，初步建立学习英语的信心；培养学生具有一定的语感和良好的语音、语调、书写基础，以及良好的学习习惯；初步具备用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。

　　2.在新学期的开始，有些科目的老师换了新老师，本节课正好设计为学习描述人物体貌特征和个性的语言，既有实际的意义，又可以学习新的表达方式。

　　学情分析

　　授课班级为我校五年级学生。经过二年多的英语学习，学生已有一定的英语基础，能听懂教师的课堂用语，能简单的描述图片内容，能看图片完成听力，能交流简单的个人信息，表达简单的情感和感觉；具备小组讨论交流的能力。但学生英语语言组织能力还有待进一步提高，缺乏综合运用语言谈论所学话题的能力，需在教师的引领下突破这一难点。

　　就本课而言，学生已经学过一些有关各科教师称呼的词汇，如art teacher, science teacher, English teacher, math teacher, Chinese teacher 等.关于人物的描述：He’s…, She’s … ,学生并不陌生，但需要在教师的引导下，在新的话题情景中复现、巩固和运用。

　　教学目标
