教学内容：pep教材五年级上册第一单元
单元教学目标
(1) 能听懂、会说do you have new teachers ? yes, we have a new art teacher . who’s your art teacher/…?what’s he like ? he’s short and thin . is he strict ? 等句子，并能在实际情景中运用。
(2) 掌握a、b部分let’s learn , read and write 中的四会单词和句子，并能运用所学单词和句型对人物进行正确的判断、描述。
(3) 通过学习两个 chant，熟悉词汇。培养学生的语言节奏感。
(4)了解pronunciation 部分的字母组合ea、ee、bl、br在单词中的发音规律，熟练读出例词。
(5)会唱歌曲：“my new teacher” ,培养学生学习英语的兴趣和热爱、尊重老师的情感。
(6)了解story time ,good to know等部分内容。
(7)让学生了解四方国家对人的称呼方法，尊重异国文化。

教学目标：
（1）能够听懂会说 歌谣 ，并配以相应的动作或表情。
（2）通过学习，能够听说读写单词： old short thin tall strong
（3）初步掌握句型: who’s your ~teacher? what’s he/she like? he’s / she’s ….
教学重点:
let's learn部分的单词old short thin tall strong young funny kind，从音形义理解并能够在表达中灵活运用，四会单词要求学生能够拼写。
教学难点：句型who’s your ~teacher ? what’s he/she like? he’s / she’s ….帮助学生掌握四会单词的拼写。
教具准备：
(1) 教学挂图，单词卡片
(2) 录音机以及录音带
（3）教师和学生一起准备一些教师的照片或图片，甚至可以找一些受学生欢迎的明星或卡通人物的照片，如姚明等。
教学过程：
1.warm-up:
(1) 边说边做三年级下册六单元let’s do :tall tall tall! make yourself tall. big big big! make your eyes big. long long long! make your arm long ……….. （伴着节奏通过边说边做 渲染课堂气氛，舒展学生身心，使学生进入学习兴奋状态，同时复习与本课有关的单词 tall short ）。
