第四课时：b let's learnlet’s chant c story time
教学目标：
（1）通过学习，能够听说读写单词： kind funny young smart active
（2）掌握单词 strict principal university student
（3）初步掌握句型: is she/ he ……? 以及回答。
了解story time故事情节。
教学重点:
let's learn部分的单词kind funny young smart active strict principal university student ，从音形义理解并能够在表达中灵活运用，四会单词要求学生正确拼写。
教学难点：单词strict principal university的发音以及四会单词的书写和拼写。
教具准备：
(1) 教学挂图，单词卡片
(1)录音机以及录音带或者cd
(2)头饰.
教学过程：
1.warm-up:
let’s sing “my new teacher”
复习巩固上一节课学习的歌曲，营造英语学习气氛，通过单词替换，复习所本单元学单词。同时熟悉句型is she/ he ……? 教师可以在歌曲单词替换练习时板书a部分学习过的单词kind young funny 因为这三个单词在b部分为四会单词。
2. presentation
(1) 教授新词汇，
教师出示图片并使用已学句型what’s he /she like ? 来学习单词 smart strict active 。
如： 教师出示图片3
t: what’s he like?
s: he’s strict.
学习单词strict 。
将这三个单词与在复习歌曲my new teacher时板书的单词kind young funny 放在一起学习，巩固。教师可以通过tpr活动来巩固这六个描述人物外貌特征和性格特征的单词。如，让学生通过面目表情表演来体验这些单词的含义。还可以通过比赛的方式让每组选派代表来表演不同的性格，外貌特征，比比谁演的最形象逼真。或者让学生表演，大家来猜猜是哪一个词汇。通过游戏，待学生单词掌握基本牢固后，教师可以接着教授新词汇：principal university student 。
小比赛
四会的单词可以进行拼读，比如师生比赛的形式：t : ~,can you spell “strict” ? 学生拼写，然后学生也可以反问老师，看谁更快更好。注意：教师可以故意拼慢点，给学生一些信心。
e.g. t : can you spell “ strict” ? s: can you spell “ kind” ?

一个小电视，右边从上到下红、黄、绿三个按钮
① 点红按钮出现人物形象
② 点黄按钮出现人物身份和形容词
③ 点绿按钮出现一句描述的话语
第一组：
principal
strict and kind
miss lin
miss lin is our principal. she’s strict. but she’s very kind.
第二组：
mr. qian
science teacher; young and smart;
mr. qian is our new science teacher. he’s young and smart. he’s an university student.
第三组：
mr. ding
music teacher; funny and active;
mr. ding is our music teacher. he's funny and active. he’s class is so much fun,.
(2) let’s learn
教师出示图片，播放录音或者cd 让学生认真听，仔细理解。之后教师可以提问:

t: is she young?ss: no, she’s old.
