1. bring in a large wall calendar in english.
2. show the pupils the wall calendar. say this is a calendar. point to each month. tell the pupils this is one month. show the pupils and read aloud the names of the week from sunday to saturday.
teacher: there are seven days in a week. they are sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday.
