师德是一个教师的灵魂，是搞好教育教学的前提，更是每一位教师的立身之本。我校本次师德师风自查自纠活动的主要目标是经过思想纪律作风整顿，使全校教职员工爱岗敬业的意识增强，组织纪律更加严明，教育教学质量得到进一步提高，使学校各项工作更上一个新台阶。作为一名普通的小学英语教师，在本次师德师风自查自纠活动中，经过认真反思自已思想和工作方面存在的突出的问题，主要从以下几方面来自我评价，对照检查。
一、存在问题
1、缺乏依法执教意识。作为一名英语教师，在教育学生的过程中，对于个别经常违反校规校纪，屡教不改的学生，总是心躁气急，大声训斥，最终使师生关系构成僵化对立局面。经过认真反思，我深刻地认识到这是一种严重伤害学生自尊的表现。这样不仅仅损害了人民教师作为人类灵魂工程师的光辉形象，并且严重违犯了依法执教的职业要求。
2、关心学生不够到位。由于性格原因，对学生缺乏细心和耐心，对学生要求过于严格。在教育学生的过程中，往往采取宏观管理，对于保护学生安全，关心学生健康，维护学生权益，常常不注重细节，因而让部分学生感受不到教师的温情和关爱。
3、终身学习理念不强。对于终身学习理解不够深刻，在平时的教学中，满足于自我的现状，缺乏强烈的求知欲望。总觉得自已的专业知识和教学技能足以胜任当前英语教学工作。因而不善于钻研业务，学习先进的教学方法，累积新鲜的英语知识，虚心向同行取经、交流，做事保守，甚至不懂的问题不敢低头想别人请教，业务水平提高缓慢。
4、开拓创新精神欠佳。在英语教学中，备课不下功夫，简单地把备教案等同于抄教案，教案只用于应付学校检查，上课时照本宣科，只向学生传授陈旧僵化的死知识，甚至忽视了学生创新意识的渗透，创新本事的培养，严重违背了素质教育的要求。
二、原因分析
1、缺乏对教育法律法规的深入学习，尤其对《教师法》、《义务教育法》、《未成年人保护法》、《中小学教师职业道德规范》等法律法规的深入学习和深刻理解，因而陷入固步自封，甚至违背依法执教的地步。
2、对崇高的教育事业和高尚的教师职业认识不深，缺乏热情。
3、一方应对终身学习认识不透彻，总觉得当前体制下，即便是活到老，学到老，知识再多，本事再强，“老爸不是李刚，你家不是银行，也是白搭”。另一方面是教师工作繁重，时间紧张，精力不足，况且对继续深造经济负担难以承受，那也无可奈何。
4、总觉得：在英语教学中，投入精力，发扬开拓创新精神去搞教学，不但费时费力，并且教学效果不必须明显。
三、改善措施
经过近段时间的师德师风自查自纠活动，我深刻地认识到自我思想的落后和浅薄，视野的狭窄与庸俗，知识的陈旧与肤浅。所以，我决定，在今后的教育教学工作中，必须要努力加强思想道德建设，深入学习领悟教育法律法规和各种重要文件的精神实质，认真贯彻依法执教。在管理学生中，坚决做到为人师表，把学生当自我的孩子看待，从学习、生活、心理等方面关心每一位学生。深入钻研终身学习的教育理念，把终身学习当终身大事来对待，努力提高自我的专业技能和教学艺术。深入理解“创新是一个民族提高的灵魂，是国家兴旺发达的不竭动力”的深刻内涵，开拓自我的思想，提高创新本事，培养和挖掘学生在学习上的创新潜能，把学生造就成国家需要的创新性人才。
