在圣诞节里，还要在家里放一棵圣诞树。圣诞树起源于德国。1841年的德国王子Alebr与英国女皇Victoria结婚时，在温莎城堡布置了第一棵圣诞树，从此圣诞树习俗便传入英国。美国独立战争时期，由英国军队中的雇佣军人传入美国。因此，美国的圣诞节也就有圣诞树的习惯。圣诞树是一种常青树，上面悬挂着各色彩灯和点燃的蜡烛，是“流芳百世”和“长寿”的象征。根据美国人的习惯，在圣诞节那天，全家人要坐在圣诞树下共进佳肴，朋友赠送的礼物通常要在圣诞树下打开。

虽然圣诞节还没到，但我还是迫不及待地拉着妈妈，开始装饰起家里的圣诞树来。
我先从包装盒里拿出圣诞树来，这棵树约1。2米高，由二部分组成。两部分拼接在一起，一棵绿意盎然的圣诞树就立起来了，圣诞树由最下面是一个绿色的塑料三角架支撑。
树拼好了，我就开始往树上挂小饰品了，我先拿来二串不同颜色的金属小珠琏环绕在树上，一串是天空的碧蓝色，一串是火焰的赤红色。
接下来我开始往树上挂一串银白色的爱心形状的亮片、木制的红色圣诞老人、亮闪闪的小圆球、银色的水滴状小挂件……
接着就是往圣诞树上挂灯了，一盏盏的小灯做成一朵朵晶莹的小雪花，由一根长长的白色电线连接起来，通上电，圣诞树一下子就亮了起来。
最后一步就是往圣诞树顶上插一个大大的红色星星，美丽的圣诞树就装饰完成了!
我和妈妈一起在树下堆起送给每一位家人的圣诞礼物，一起期盼着圣诞节的早日到来!
